Brittany & Xylon – Hollywood Glam at the Morris Arboretum

Posted on October 28, 2019

Brittany & Xylon brought the Hollywood Glam all the way from Los Angeles to Philadelphia, and it was incredible!! They met on set working in the entertainment industry in California, and have been adventuring the earth together ever since. The colors, the style, the gorgeousness all felt perfect… starting with the epic mansion with beautiful light everywhere, to the lush and flower-filled Morris Arboretum. Brittany and Xylon’s day was full of love in every way. And this bride is beautiful inside and out! There were so many small personal creative touches that were special to see and be a part of. Thank you Brittany & Xylon for inviting me to capture this amazing time in your lives. It was an absolute dream!     …

Magic in the French Alps, Kat & Alex

Posted on September 13, 2019

Hello world! It’s been roughly 9 MONTHS since I’ve last blogged. Woah. That’s crazy. But my media/marketing all that jazz always seems to fall by the wayside, even though all the while I’ve been shooting stuff I have truly loved and deserves to be shared. But since we last connected on here, I did a little thing like move to California, moved back, opened a brand new photography studio in Philadelphia…etc. Oh yeah! And I got my yoga teacher training certificate! And this experience is what led me to these two lovebirds…Kat & Alex. As I’m writing, I’m realizing I need/want to share my yoga story with you, and the photos I took during the time I spent in the beautiful French Alps. But…

Mollie & Peter – Ben Franklin Bridge, Race Street Pier & Power Plant Productions

Posted on August 30, 2017

Beautiful New York City couple gets married in Philadelphia….has a nice ring to it! I can’t help the love I have for my city, so I was pretty pumped to show it off with Mollie and Peter on a beautiful summer day in a most epic location. From Mollie getting ready at the gorgeous Kimpton Hotel Monaco, to Peter and his guys living large at their own bright loft for day of preparations, to the sweeping views of the Ben Franklin Bridge on the Race Street Pier… this day was incredible. We ventured around Old City and the Delaware waterfront, past fences and through fields to get some patriotic summer lovin’ looks. I had always wanted to photograph the American Flag mural that is displayed an abandoned warehouse on Colombus Blvd., but because it’s large size, it was hard to figure out how to get the right perspective. On my location scouting bike ride the week before, I found it – an unassuming whispy, field of tall grasses next to a storage garage parking lot. A bit unconventional to say the least, but Mollie and Peter didn’t even flinch when I told them my plan. She picked up her dressed and march straight into unknown territory with me, and the results were amazing!

The energy continued into the night and into the dance floor, with some of the best dabbin’, dancing, and all around throw downs to date at the Power Plant Productions. Lots of love and fun in this family. I had a blast working with Mollie and Peter, and hope you enjoy a little glimpse of their lovely day.

Rebecca & Warren – Pennsylvania Museum of Anthropology

Posted on May 30, 2017

I’m in the mood to spread a little love today. Reflecting on just over a year ago when I had the very awesome privilege of shooting Rebecca & Warren’s wedding at the University of Pennsylvania’s – Museum of Anthropology in Philadelphia. This wedding was nothing short of epic moments throughout the entire day. These two are both such beautiful people, inside and out. I loved their classic and stunning attire. I loved their expressive and amazing friends and family, who are all clearly the most perfect reflection of them. I loved their heartfelt and absolutely jaw dropping beautiful vows, reaching deep into each others’ raw hearts for all of us to hear and see. Their wedding day was the same day as the Kentucky Derby…and…

Laurel & Dan’s Wedding in the Catskills

Posted on September 24, 2015

Laurel & Dan’s wedding is too lovely not to revisit, and this time of the year is so incredibly beautiful….I wanted to remember it too. Like many of the weddings I shoot, I just wish we could do it all over again and go back to that awesome, magical day. Set in the beautiful Catskill mountains at a private home with a sweet little lily pad pond, these two celebrate their love with all their favorite people. Their ceremony was one of the most heart-felt, emotional ceremonies I have ever witnessed. Everything was so personal, so sweet and so special. I felt so special to be a part of it. I also really enjoyed taking all these beautiful pictures. I hope you like…

Lydia & Tushar

Lydia&Tushar.Sneakpeek
Lydia & Tushar rocked their wedding in style. It was colorful, cultural, warm and inviting, fashionable & fun. These are all the words that come to mind when I think back on their awesome day in Philly.  And although I wish I could have been at their wedding in India as well… I was pretty excited to rock the American celebration by taking them to some EPIC Philly spots. Can you guess where the one above was? It was one of those magical moments when everything just worked out and we got that mural all to ourselves after exploring some familiar tiny streets, and gorgeous museum grounds. Just another day in awesome wedding world land. 🙂

Matt & Andressa – Destination Wedding in Brazil

Posted on May 29, 2015

I am so excited to finally share the story of two of my favorite people in the world, Andressa & Matt. Happiness and love follow them wherever they go, which is why I was thrilled when they asked me to capture their wedding story. Celebrating in Brazil was so special, with the most loving collection of incredible people. The week-long festivities began in Curitiba, where Andressa went to school, and the veiw from their 14th floor apartment set a beautiful scene of this delightful city. The festivities continued as a small group of family and friends traveled by ferry to a remote island off the coast, called Isla de Miel – ‘Honey Island’. After two days exploring, hiking and swimming, I now know why…

Lordy Lordy! It’s been a busy summer. Along with 984698749824 other photos I’d still like to blog, I forgot to post some great sneak peeks of some of the weddings I’ve had the pleasure of shooting recently. With hopes to tell the full story for each of these lovely couples, here are some wonderful moments from June, July & August so far in the land of wedding photography.     Kara & Nick – June 21st, 2014 : A romantic, beautiful day with some long time friends on a gorgeous summer solstice. Patricia & Matt – July 19th, 2014 : All smiles for each other all day long… these two. 🙂    Andressa & Matt – July 26th, 2014 : I got to shoot…
